====== Reiko Eleythos (Reiko Arthen) ======
Also known as //Kinno Tsubame//, or //The Golden Swallow// - a famed singer from [[..:Factions:Touyou]]. Known for her synth-heavy orchestral rock songs, she made use of state-of-the-art vocal [[..Technologies:Cybernetics]] that allowed for polyphonic singing - essentially she would sing in harmony with herself.

An ethnic mix of Tou and Arthenian - her father a retired Colonel in the [[..:Factions:Republic of Agathos|Agathonian]] Army; her mother a Touyouian homemaker.

==== Childhood ====
Reiko was born on AE 221/07/18 to Uther and Ouno Arthern. For the first 12 years of her life she was an "army brat," moving frequently as her father was transferred from base to base across the globe. When he retired from his commission in AE233 he settled his family in Shimazure, Touyou.

From an early age Reiko was interested in performing arts, regularly participating in dance, drama, and choir activities during primary school. Upon entering high school she joined the Choir Club, and it was during a recital that she drew the attention of [[.:Morinomo Hajime]] of Saigaku records.

After the Chaos Miracle Reiko remained in Agathos, using her celebrity to build morale with troops across several factions. She used these inroads to act as a diplomat and was an unofficial member of the Rovlin Assembly, a pan-faction local anti-USC coalition. There she re-kindled her friendship with [[polemos:8th_age:characters:tyr_eleythos|Capt. Tyr Eleythos]] of the [[polemos:8th_age:factions:fcc|Free Company Confederacy (FCC)]], which led to romance and was wed to him on AE 239/04/03. She continued as official spokeswoman for the assembly, and in AE 239/06 she publicly refused a nomination to run for the FCC representative seat in the assembly election, claiming she would do more good in a more neutral position. 

She was an active non-voting member of the Rovlin Constitutional Convention, which with the assembly's blessing produced a proposal for a new national government to unite the factions of old Agathos. She worked furiously as an public advocate for ratification in national elections that followed. On AE 241/10/21 the election results came in, and Reiko officially changed positions as the Rovlin Assembly disbanded and the [[polemos:8th_age:factions:ufpf|United Free People's Federation]] was inaugurated. She took a position as a special adviser to President Relithys, and continued her work pulling wayward factions into supporting the new federation.
