Although it is not at war with the NPSL, they have an intense rivalry stemming from ideological differences. The NIST considers the USC merely as a problem that Agathos should handle since they essentially started the war, and that Polus nations should only fight the USC in self-defense, otherwise they should be free to pursue individual goals.
