As President of the AES, the Phaethon project has been your life's work for the last few decades. A month ago a diplomatic incident rose tensions between the LIDA and Directorate, and some fool Liberal senator brought up the fact that a unionist could sabotage the Metro tower docking event. This causes a swirl of unfounded rumors and anonymous threats to circulate. The Board wanted to postpone until media attention could be rebooted, but you've waited too long for this. You hastily gathered a group of VIPs to attend the ceremony from Phaethon as a gesture of confidence. It took days of cajoling but you even got a union representative on board. 

Today is a day of celebration for one of mankind's greatest achievements, and you are determined to oversee the event and make sure it is a success.
