====== Kakos ======
First moon of Polemos, Kakos is a rusty red volcanic moon that orbits nearer than its sister [[.:Kathreftis]]. 
Kakos is often viewed as evil or an ill omen in many cultures.
Some say it is the realm that the wicked dead are sent to - forced to watch the delights of the life below as they are tormented by fire and evil spirits.

===== Blood Moon =====
A 'blood moon' is an astronomical occurrence where Kakos eclipses [[.:Kathreftis]] behind it.
This eclipse lasts for around 24 hours until Kathreftis overtakes Kakos once again, and occurs on average every 4 months or so.
Many take this day to be a symbolic sign of evil unchecked, and are wary during the event.
