Rise of the Mu

In the summer of 4E 1254 a tremendous earthquake ravaged the Aeserian Empire. In the aftermath strange creatures known only as “Mu” began to rise from deep underground to attack civilization. The capital Aeseri'Nu was lost, and King Nadu III split the empire and roused ethnic Aeseri to gather at a sanctuary city, called Abhayan'Nu (meaning “City of Refuge”).
