Timeresh is a nation in northeast Centras formed in the climactic days of the Great War. Formed originally as a sanctuary for any and all seeking refuge from the war's bloody end, over many turbulent years the peoples amalgamated into a unified kingdom. With a plurality Old Orises population mixed with minority Romalian, local Saniori, and other Eleshite cultures, Timereshi culture developed from old Eleshite principles infused with new ideas required to survive in a post-Elesh world.

Magic is used openly in Timeresh without apparent regulation, though Timereshi culture views magical use as 'work' unfit for the aristocracy. Thus few kings of Timeresh had magical skill, relying instead on factions of court magi to cast spells on his behalf. These magi could exert great influence but could not command legitimacy due to their 'lowborn' station. This open embrace of magic prevented application to larger alliances such as the 39 Shards, though in practice Timeresh was on friendly diplomatic terms with shard-members. These relationships were sometimes strained due to accusations that Timereshi magic use exacerbating the wounds of The Great War nearby, including the fires of the Dusk Mountains and the swirling chaos of the Maelstorm.

Timeresh, for most of its history, cultivated large communities of Drakuncion, and made frequent use of dragoon mercenaries to fill the army's ranks. The land of Timeresh also contained at least one hidden Anthegal kingdom, a fact of notable controversy and mystery for neighbors both human and anthegal.
