Lixoba

A coastal city-state set on an island in the central Tannah Sea. Founded by the Romalian Empire as a naval way-station to help defend Tel-Thespoli, it was razed in the Great War. The Romalian survivors rebuilt, and discovered the cataclysmic fighting have overturned sections of the hills above the town, exposing deposits of silver for easy strip mining. This drew prospectors, colonists, and laborers from around the Tannah region, eventually leading to a cosmopolitan mix of peoples forming a new distinct Lixoban culture. The city features many thin spires, each built taller than the last as a game of silver barons to flaunt their wealth.

Though influenced by their Romalian history, Lixoba would come to be organized by a Pheocian city-state government, but often with Romalian titles. A 20 seat senate (Akhon) acts on behalf of major families and trade organizations, and acts as a check on the elected-for-life Princeps (Stufet).
