Majority religion of the Republic of Agothos, it worships all the good and neutral gods, but favors the goddess of Liberty Eleytheria above all spirits excepting Chronos.
Eleytherianism emphasizes philosophical learning, theological debate, and cultivation of personal virtue. Though it has a rich set of public rituals and sacrifices, it prioritizes producing a personal conviction of sincere belief over communal activity.
Eleytherian religion, more than many classical pantheistic faiths, embraces henotheistic. The Creator, associated with Chronos, rules as God of gods and is the main focus of worship. All other gods were worthy of veneration and prayer, but only as a subsidiary to Chronos. With his disappearance at the start of the Great War, Eleytheria is seen as guardian for his empty throne. The interregnum is viewed as a test, with the goddess of freedom serving as caretaker of heaven while humanity's ultimate fate is determined. Eleytheria is not passive in this process, however, as she searches for the Champion who will restore Chronos to his rightful place and ensure humanity's favorable judgement. It was this henotheism and caretaker role that eased Eleytherian conversion to monotheistic Orthodoxy.
