An exemplar of the USC system-elite, Lucius has been hand-selected and trained from an early age to guide new peoples through the growing pains of development.
The Titus family is a proud and loyal Centrian lineage dating back to the old empire, and Lucius's mother's side includes both both Centrian and Romalian royal blood.
Lucius, like most system-elite, was pod-birthed from optimized gametes at the behest, ultimately, of an Immortal. His early years were spent in the best Community Child Care centers of Sector 0. Educated in the elite track of the Science Academy with focuses on Social Integration and Social Development - Lucius had only two demerits to his name, both for fraternizing with orthodox individuals.
After receiving full membership, Lucius officially joined the System, and worked in the Science Academy for a time. He researched new methodologies for social development, particularly early-stage development and military district theory, and submitted a total of 5 finding papers to the System.
His last, Optimizations & Alternatives to Conformity in Expeditionary Communication, garnered an experimental approval of implementation from a Main Processing Unit (those just below the Immortals). He was assigned to an expedition and sent to a tour of duty in the Tribal Development Area.
Lucius conducted the experiments, and reported positive findings back to ExC. He was reassigned to Unified Military District Command back in Centria, and continued his research there when USC order A-385 was issued.
Lucius remained in UMDC for the first stage of the war. He was given a formal System Demerit when he communicated to his biological daughter that she should evacuate Sector 0 in response to Merlynik Phylus's threat to destroy the city with the Chaos Bomb. At a formal accountability hearing Lucius refused to plead guilty, and was assigned to mandatory correctness therapy. After 2 weeks he was restored to System membership in good standing and was re-assigned to the Polus Military District - a technical demotion, but a chance to prove his loyalty in a warzone.
Though his initial work in the district was classified, he was quickly reassigned to one of the top posts in the district's human hierarchy - Directed Human Interface Member. Similar to a top diplomat spot in a less developed government, Lucius was tasked to implement UMDC policy by interacting with non-USC organizations. He is credited with signing the truce between the USC and the Republic of Vernick, which was instrumental in restoring the USC's position on the continent after the chaos miracle.
