Crusaders of Liberty (COL)

A militia under the New Unity Church of Liberty – the majority (though not state) religion of the old Republic. Crusader forces protect the many churches across the continent, and are usually locally raised and organized. A national force called the “Champion Crusaders” keep supply routes open and also hold a sizeable territory around the Holy Cathedral of St. Arthenia in Artheniopolis, Filos - the church’s new headquarters. They actively defend against RFDF forces, and are friendly with the Senate. Lastly they also organize the “Crusading Angels”, a charity that attempts to help refugees and other war victims. Angels are usually accompanied by Champions to protect them from local hostile factions.
