2nd Age Lore Suggestions

List below are a few suggestions to take into consideration when writing lore for this age. Polemos is a vast world and there are always exceptions to the rule, so you do not have to follow these to the letter; rather these suggestions are focused on the “spirit” or “themes” that you should follow.

The gluttony of the 1st Age's magic and the associated cataclysms have passed, and the empires that spring up in the 2nd age would spend considerable effort creating anti-magic regimes. These same empires would often rely on powerful magic for communication, transportation, and population control. So, in reality, the anti-magic policy of these empires would often be another method of control, not an altruistic concern for nature.
