Knight Six> RANGECOM has called in one of our markers, so we're on loan for this mission. Meet Fredrick Hanhaus, a.k.a. the Villain of Vilmen. As a Colonel of the Republic of Vernick during the civil war he ran one of Durnst's brutal 'advancement' camps. As you've probably seen on the news, he was recently acquitted of war crimes by the Vernick reconciliation court after most of the evidence against him was thrown out, kicking off low-level street fighting across Vernick. He's retired to his private mountain villa in Schennholm, but Fredrick's infamous bad temper is still working overtime. Several witnesses at his trial have received…intense…threats against their life. A surveillance warrant was issued and shows his villa is now a gathering place for Durnstist loyalists and the beginnings of a well-armed militia under the guise of private security. RANGEOM fears he'll make good on those threats, or even begin planning a new constructionist revolution. The local authorities likely aren't capable of handling a cybernized militia should it come to that. You have RANGECOM authorization to reconnoiter the villa grounds in force. If you find any evidence of criminal activity, no matter how small, you're to make an immediate assault to arrest Fredrick and eliminate anyone that resists. Finally…attached to the request was a personal note from a ranger “Nova” to ask that Mr. Hanhaus isn't taken without multiple blunt-force fractures, but I'm sure your peerless professionalism will prevent your judgement from being clouded by such a request.
