Shaddimark
Built upon the site of first contact between Guild scouts and Illusian fremen, Shaddimark served as the main frontier outpost and unofficial Imperial capital of the planet during the Pashalik Entail.
Entail Era
During the Entail, the city was ruled directly by the Siridar-Trustee. It was hastily fortified with a small spaceport, settlement shield, deputized Entail Guardsmen, and a local femen Foederati corps. The city quickly reached the size of a small, but potent, city-state where the Entail could be adjudicated in safety, and local fremen could trade on ostensibly neutral ground. A large general market and bank also sprang up near the Entail Claim Scrip Office in an informal trade quarter.
