====== Blues ======
The Blues were a sectarian faction of [[polemos:4th_age:factions:dythos|Dythos]] that was self-described as dedicated to the protection of individual liberty, justice, and self-reliance.
Growing out of the frontier spirit of Dythonian culture they valued individualism and personal responsibility.

Membership was commonly from homesteaders, middle class artisans and traders, soldiers, clergy, and perhaps most importantly, rural estate owners.
Blues were seen as traditional, viewing large societal changes with dread, and valuing property rights and traditional institutions, including the temples.
Within society many saw the Blues as the voice of oligarchy, often with aspirations to rule Dythos in a manner similar to the [[polemos:4th_age:factions:agothos|mainland]] Synkletos.
