A state on the islands and remote eastern coast of the island of Tasche, originally formed as a sailors' mutiny against the [[taschel|Duchy of Taschel]].
Though it claims legitimacy as a [[..:..:2nd_age:factions:romalia|Romalian]] successor state by the Duchy's line of authority, most Tannah nations view Coel-Mahar as little better than a pirate haven.

After initial attempt to topple the [[taschel|Duchy of Taschel]] failed, the admiralty took the name "All-Sea Republic" as a reference to the historical "All-Sea" [[..:..:2nd_age:factions:romalia|Romalian)]] imperial policy that was used to justify conquest of the entire Tannah Sea region.
Given the cultural mix of the mutineers, the name was commonly rendered as //Coel-Mahar// from "Koil" ([[..:languages:tuonic|Tuonic]] for "All") and "Mahara" (the local [[..:languages:marretic|Marretic]] for "sea").
