Children of Creation, Children of Eleytheria, Those with Holy Blood, and even you Children of Chaos - I, Michael – Archangel of the Almighty, have returned to this mortal world to herald The Light to you all. Presently you wallow in misery of your own designs – you have been liberated from the Evil Ones for centuries, yet you insist on squandering your creator’s dearest gift, and now you reap the fruits of your misdeeds. Even your world’s most virtuous nation, disgusts me. Evil may have continued its slavery on lesser men – but you, Proud Republic, have extinguished The Light, doomed all souls in this world, simply so that you may comfort your petty fears with the Great Lie of Peace. You are not the men I struggled and bled with in the Great War – you bring the greatest indignity to those who sacrificed more than you can ever hope to fathom. You have become weak – having lesser strength of will than those who grovel in Evil’s grasp. But you are not alone in your sin. Heaven has seen the depth of your world’s transgressions. Judgment has been passed – all men of all nations and faiths have been found guilty, deserving of nothing short of the Damned Fires of Kakos itself.// |

| | //People of Agathos, Free Men everywhere- today is the day your souls have yearned for! It is now, for this very moment, that you have lived your life. Blessed are we – for we now have the opportunity that has been sought so desperately since the dawn of ages. I speak, of course, of the salvation of all mankind! When Michael approached this lowly warrior to lead his Crusade of Peace, I at first was hesitant. How can an army of holy soldiers, no matter how virtuous, bring peace to the world through war? I myself have seen the terrors and nightmares men inflict on each other in battle. I see now, however, that it takes far more courage to defend the many with force than it does to defend the few with peace. We Free Men have known the comforts of tranquility for many years while the rest of humanity wallowed in cruelty. Billions of souls in this world have never enjoyed even their most basic of rights. And we, afraid to lose our quiet lifestyles, make excuses for their plight. We avert our gaze from them, for the shame of our inaction makes us no better than the tyrants we negotiate with. No more. Each and every person on this world deserves True Liberty. Emancipation from the Vile Empire, from the Suffocating Union, from the Corrupt Republic – these are not wishful goals to be pursued at our leisure. They are the demands of Justice and Equality; masters Free Men must serve unwaveringly, lest we too lose what they bestow – Freedom. The righteous must, on this day, take up the sword so that we might save the many, not just the few.// |

| | //Therefore I accepted Michael’s calling. I am well aware of the irony of an unelected man leading a Crusade for Freedom, for one of our most basic tenets is the right of self-government. To this I answer – The Freedom Defense Council will not depose or interfere with any elected government that upholds its responsibilities to its people and their God-given rights. We do not exist to rule over you – but to unite you in an alliance with the most divine of purposes. But also know this: we will not hesitate a moment; we will not give a second thought to defending anyone’s Liberty with any means necessary. And so all governments, all institutions, and yes all individuals must make their choice. They must make it immediately. There can be no debate, no compromise on our guiding principles. They must decide whether to support peace or break it; whether to help their neighbor or shun him; whether to save mankind or doom it. I have no doubt that we will save it; we will fulfill what we have long ignored. We are at the start of a new era – the Saints will watch in reverent awe as we bring an end to the unjust ways they endured, and defend it with all our might until the end of Eternity. So rejoice this day! For it is today that we started towards true salvation. Today, we are free.// |
