United Security Command (USC)
The most influential political, economic, social, and military force on the planet - the United Security Command began simply as a military alliance between Centria and its regional allies. Using technology to better coordinate their forces, the command grew to personify Constructionism, eventually taking full political and economic control over the alliance members. After absorbing the sovereignty of the founding nations it continued to ravenously expand to neighboring states through diplomacy, invasion, or any other method.

Centria, having the world's most landmass, naturally has some of the worlds most diverse ecosystems.
History
Origin
Government
Though the USC started as a military alliance, while the modern form performs all governmental functions for its territories as well. It uses a highly distributed network of Activity Processing Units, computers designed to make objective decisions about various political or economic decisions. The types of units and their organization is highly dependent on what Development Zone an area is in.
All territory outside the USC is considered the Undeveloped Zone. At the outer extreme of the USC is the Initial Development Zone. It is made up of nations or other areas that have been recently absorbed into the USC - through conquest, diplomacy, or any other method. When an area is first absorbed it's political structures and divisions are usually left intact. Exactly 15% of political and economic leaders at random areas and levels are replaced by Omni-Processing Units. The focus of these units is to stabilize the zone's economy and begin enforcement of USC political loyalty. As time goes on the more human leadership is replaced by Omni-Processing Units until 85% is reached. The rate of replacement is dynamically determined based on a zone's security incident rate.
After an Initial Development Zone's processing percentage reaches 85% the area is moved into the Primary Development Zone. The area is split into arbitrary Military Districts and the area is forcibly integrated into Centria, replacing the Omni-Processing Units with more specialized units in a regularly organized hierarchy.
Once all human leaders are replaced with processing units and the processing network is organized to Centrian standards the area is considered integrated into the Full Development Zone. The territory is officially absorbed into Centria, and all political, economic, and security matters are handed over to processing units.

The System
The only legal political faction is known simply as The System. System membership is a prerequisite for almost all leadership positions.
Gelaunth
Gelaunth is a Com-Zed word that roughly translates to “Technological Advancement.” The concept is quite complicated, however, and brings with it connotations of social change, personal improvement, advocacy of a moral good, and even progress towards some utopian end state.
Kaumut
Also from the Com-Zed, Kaumut in a literal sense means “Unity.” Like Gelaunth it inherits many additional meanings, including ideas of community, social well-being, and ideological purity.
