+===== Securing Confederation Support =====
+As a first step, seraph squad journeyed to [[polemos:8th_age:factions:drakontas|Drakontas]] to investigate any existing links between Vernick separatist groups and the clan confederacy government.
+During a border stop crossing into [[polemos:8th_age:factions:fdc|FDC]] territory it became apparent that the Pteros statement at Dolmapolis had soured relations between the coalition - UFPF personnel were being turned back. The old gate guard had family in Dolmapolis, and let seraph squad pass as they "did right by the people."
+Upon arriving in Drakontas territory they were flagged down by Krav'vuhl, a dragoon clan militia. They were escorted to the local patriarch, where their motives were probed during a hospitable night's rest. Ultimately they were given permission to cross the clan's lands and were escorted to Drak'Kuvlena - the roving capitol. The seraph squad met with Mak'Len, a clan leader on the foreign committee. An arrangement was reached whereby:
+  * Drakontas would pay for any supplies given.
+  * The UFPF would be responsible for with making contact with the separatist groups and maintaining the smuggling operation
+  * All attempts would be made to ensure that discovery of the coordination would hide Drakontas's role.
+  * During any future peace process the UFPF would hold free and open referendums by all dragoon-majority territory to offer annexation by Drakontas.
+===== Vernick Infiltration =====
+With mandate in hand, seraph squad cross the border into the [[polemos:8th_age:factions:republic_of_vernick|Republic of Vernick]]. After monitoring local network news, they decided to being their search for separatist groups in the city of Krenholst. At one point in their journey they were stopped by RoV military police without official travel papers, but were able to peacefully bribe their way into continuing.
+Upon arriving at Krenholst seraph squad attempted to get information from a local tavern in the dragoon quarter of the city. They were soon met by a group of thugs that were under the impression that the obvious outsiders were an attempt by the RoV or USC secret police to infiltrate the community. Ranger Ruckus, a dragoon himself, was able to gain their trust by performing an extra-judicial execution of a woman who was accused of being a vernick collaborator.
+Seraph squad was granted an audience with the leader of the Vol'Don group. Through the negotiations they were able to force him to admit that the group was already receiving support from the USC. While the separatists knew the constructionists were playing both sides, they nonetheless took whatever support they could get, and had no problem adding the federation to the list of supporters. Despite the conflicted loyalties, seraph squad agreed to begin funneling supplies to the group, and forwarded on instructions to FEDINT.
+Seraph squad was soon ex-filtrated by FEDINT agents and returned to the ranger lodge at Ft. Vigil.
