====== Syphkolk ======
The Syphkolk are small humanoid-like creatures that live in secret wilds scattered around [[..:|Polemos]]. They were originally created through magical experimentation by corrupt men to cheaply fill the ranks of [[polemos:3rd_age:events:elesh_rebellion|Eleshite]] armies. Syphkolk are somewhat simple, but develop quickly and reproduce rapidly. There are instances where nations have been suddenly destroyed by invading hordes of syphkolk, who use sheer numbers and their nimble and stealthy nature to out-do their enemies. Being cursed creations, their alignment may not stray from their former masters' evil intent, lest they slowly whither away.

===== Physical Attributes =====
  * Small and lanky, usually around three feet tall
  * Usually have gray, oily skin, but skin color can vary
  * Walk hunched over with knuckles near their knees.  Run in striding movements
  * Large, bald, elongated heads with long pointed ears
  * Large, slanted, featureless, black eyes
  * Unisex, all syphkolk can both produce and fertilize eggs. Give birth to liters of 4 to 8, with a gestation time of around a month. The hatch-lings are born with all the essential skills to survival innately known.
  * Also sometimes created by magi, and then bred
  * Takes only one year to reach maturity
  * Average Lifespan: 6 years

===== Social Attributes =====
  * Live in covens or tribes, often in disorganized and animalistic societies.
  * Communities usually create common-usage spawning pools to enhance reproduction efficiency.
  * Very limited intelligence usually leads to gang mentality.

===== Spiritual Attributes =====
  * Restricted Free Will, can be at the complete command of a summoning mage.
  * If they stray from evil their body and soul will begin to decay. Usually within three days their flesh will have literally fallen off their bones; their soul extinguished.
