Jameswharf

A large city sets in a cape on a large island north eastern seas of the planet, set in an archipelago known for it's rough mountainous terrain. With around 200,000 residents, it is famous for it's industrial agriculture, exotic lumber, and adventure tourism. Massive tidal nets filter out chemically unique microorganisms that can be refined into various fuels and industrial lubricants.

The city and it's adjoining towns surround most of the cape, and about 15 miles inland back into the foothills of a small range of coniferous mountains. A small starport services the nearby archipelago with service to other cities on the planet and major transport services to Lafayette. A fair amount of interstellar trade also comes through Jameswharf.
