Ask your administrator if you think this is wrong. ====== Magic ====== * Magic is common, but subdued and very difficult to use. * Magic is socially unacceptable, but this rule is overlooked by the powerful. * High level casters are extremely rare. * Clerics ask their god for divine favor, which the god must opt-in to. Paladins are giving broad (but weak) divine blessings that gods must opt-out of when used. * Magic items are rare, but powerful. * Magic creatures are common, and feared. * Magic is strictly regulated, except for the powerful. * Normal folk readily protect themselves from magic using mobs and mundane violence. * Teleporting and planeshifting are extremely rare. * The only way to resurrect people is through necromancy.
