Free Peoples Alliance (FPA)

A trade and defense pact led by the Republic of Agathos before the Long War. Before the outbreak of war with the USC in AE238, the FPA was considered the primary counter-balance for liberal nations to protect against unionist and USC hegemony. Upon the actual declaration of war, however, many states refused the invocation of mutual defense clauses, and left the organization in an attempt to remain neutral. This along with the collapse of Agathos into civil war caused the alliance to quickly be considered defunct, though some factions such as the Senate would claim otherwise until the time of re-unification.

The FPA was eventually succeeded by the
