Celestials

Both inside the natural world of Polemos and beyond it in the spiritual realms, a potentially infinite amount of spiritual beings exist. Named with the blanket term “celestials,” mankind has at various times befriended them, hunted them, or worshiped them as gods.

Encounters with celestials are uncommon, often frightening, and by definition supernatural, so the truth about them is very often clouded by misinterpretation, contradictory accounts, and religious preconceptions. For this reason the entries for celestials below only attempt to catalog people's beliefs about them, not the objective facts behind those beliefs.
