Whites
The whites were a sectarian faction of Dythos founded under the auspices to advance the values of equality, compassion, and fairness.
Membership was drawn from the urban poor, ethnic Saniori, bureaucrats, rural estate laborers, and intellectuals. Whites were more varied in their specific aims than Blues, but often saw societal problems as intentional and systematic, and were more often in favor of sudden and radical cultural changes. This often put them at odds with more traditional institutions such as the temples. To circumvent traditional power bases, Whites would sometimes form urban enclaves, where educated individuals would rule over hyper-collectivized areas with parallel legal structures, which sought to act as experimental forms of social order free from colonial culture and religious norms.
Common Positions
| Domestic Government Form | Favored disbanding annual colonial assembly, preferring direct rule by parent polis or incorporation into the mainland republic. |
| Mainland Relations | Pro-integration. |
| Slavery | Anti-slavery. Radical wing in favor of violent dissolution of the estates. |
| Barbarians | Moderate wing in favor of conquest and forced re-location to further frontiers. Radical wing favored mass de-tribalization and reorganization into enclaves. |
| Legal System | Pro-enclave with absolute collective law-making. Favored innovating legal re-interpretation, including sub-charters. |
Historical Positions
Whites were especially concerned with the Sovereign Kaile's crack-down on enclaves and universities, and the subsequent imposition of near martial law in Genopolis.
