Cerick

Cerick remained one of the the closest to Reiko out of the Chaos Miracle group. Though he spent some time in AE 239 helping his father on the northern Covenant Council front he eventually found himself as Reiko's (and Tyr's) official bodyguard. When the Federation was founded he joined the flood of volunteers to its ranks, and rose to become a sniping instructor at the Federation's elite Sniper/Ranger school at Fort Resolve. Due to his experience and instruction Federation Snipers would become much more flexible than USC snipers, who could only effectively operate at extreme ranges. Cerick did this without sacrificing much raw accuracy from his recruits, which led to a distinct advantage for the free people heading into the Long War.
