Volker
Volker is a cybernetic construct. He stands approximately six and a half feet tall. He is slightly bulky and has custom made nano-hair.
A Brief History
Volker took that name because it represented a hero of people within a small isolated nation that he once visited. A nation that has surely been destroyed by now. Because of his name and his age as a Construct, it is not known what race Volker originally came from or even why he volunteered to become a Construct. However, he was one of the first Constructs to be constructed, making him now well over 150 years old. Originally designed to be a military infiltration unit, Volker has, after many upgrades, become a general war machine. After spending many of the early years as a Construct dealing with prejudice while not on missions, Volker turned away from the organic communities and began to look for companionship within a Construct community. In 203AE, Volker joined the USC. He agreed with many of their ideals of embracing technology to the fullest. It was only many years later when he saw the corruption that was overtaking the USC, he chose to defect and join the new world that was now willing to accept Constructs. As the USC continued to grow, Volker tried to live his life separated from any government. That hope was soon lost as the USC, a place he still hopes will change, became very aggressive against the other nations of Polemos. Volker therefore enlisted within the Agathonian Army. It was soon realized that he already had a high level of expertise and he was quickly promoted up the ranks until he became a Sargent Major. He now works with specialized task forces. His ultimate goal is to put an end to the corrupt USC.
Alignment
People often misunderstand Volker's actions. He was originally trained as a military infiltration unit, trained to take goals of a mission and figure out how to best achieve them. Because of this once Volker is given a mission, he will try to achieve the objective even if the situation has changed. This has, on occasion, gotten him into trouble with people in authority over him. However, he won't disregard direct orders that change the objective, but he will disobey orders that may otherwise prevent him from completing the objective.
