| In early AE 238 [[..:Characters:Reiko Arthen]], then just a teen-pop singer in [[..:Factions:Touyou]], was attacked by [[..:Races:Dragoon]] extremists while giving a concert in [[..:Locations:Nishinta]]. The terrorists were killed in the ensuing gun battle, and Reiko accompanied her mysterious saviors back to [[..:Factions:Republic of Agathos|Agathos]]. As half-Arthenian, she was understandably distraught by the chaos there, and began her "Freedom and Security" tour to raise troops' morale and try to bring a peaceful end to the conflict. Though she did not achieve all her goals the tour did generate quite a bit of publicity and cemented the idea that Reiko was as at-home in Agathos as she was in Touyou.
