Coordinated Trade Credit (CTC, "Credits")
The Coordinated Trade Credit (usually represented by the credit sign: ācā) was introduced in AE212 with the formation of the Free Peoples Alliance. Starting as a currency to be used for tariff-free trading between Umere and the Republic of Agathos, it quickly gained popularity as a neutral currency for international transactions. Today over 70% of traceable worldwide transactions, both public and private, use the CTC at least on the surface. Due to the inner workings of the Coordinated Trade Committee the actual currency used may be different.
