Death Lights

Death Lights are a visual phenomenon known to sometimes occur after large battles or other instances of concentrated deaths. Individuals often report slightly different details about their exact appearance, with some seeing white wisp-like orbs, flashing sunspot-like effects inside the eyes, or smoky ethereal trails. Commonly they are seen rising from corpses to the sky, sometimes seeming to reach towards one moon or the other, or towards both.

Theories and legends about the death lights are numerous, but tend to see the effects either as a physical effect of souls traveling to some spiritual place, or as a side-effect of the physical and spiritual places being brought closer together.
