A mid rim system in the Saquaford Subsector. While not the subsector capitol (that honor is held by Delport in the Augusta system), Providence is considered the trade hub of the region. It has the 3rd largest population in the subsector, behind the Ticonetoga and Augusta systems.

While there are a myriad of small outposts, the only habitable planet in the system is the eponymous Providence (planet).
