A mid rim system in the Saquaford Subsector. While not the regional capitol (that honor is held by the Concord system), Providence is the primary trade hub for the region with the galaxy at large. Considered cosmopolitan and gentile, it has the 3rd largest population in the subsector, behind the Augusta and Concord systems.

While there are a myriad of small outposts, the only habitable planet in the system is the eponymous Providence (planet).
