Dossier
Tashiro Emi born AE 212 in Shariki, Touyou - population 20,000 - to factory worker parents. Selected for national honor student program at age 12 but was removed at age 14 due to fights with classmates. Graduated high school with below average scores, but achieved perfect score in university entrance exam. Refused scholarship to Meikyou University to enter Cybernetics program at Aoku Technical School. Arrested in AE232 on 20th birthday for unauthorized access to military networks after obtaining access key from an admiral through social engineering. Interrogation record states she accessed classified K-H reactor designs to “soup up” a classmate's race vehicle. Charges dropped through plea deal that ordered service in Public Security.
Served variety of IWAR roles in Public Security, including both Section 1 and Section 2. Roles include motorpool technician, network defense analyst, and hacker. Transferred permanently to Section 2 in AE238 on outbreak of war, assigned to Polus Division. Received commendation after IWAR operations compromised personal devices of top leaders for 3 Agathos civil war groups in one week. Selected for Shibou Yomi operation after it was discovered she had knowledge of the operation despite need-to-know compartmentalization.
Emi is pragmatic, head-strong, and energetic. She views secrets as a challenge to discover, and treats people, machines, and computers alike as tools and friends as she has need. She can be easily distracted, but once properly motivated her brilliance can overcome almost any obstacle.
